Huge Changes To The Racing Class System
What a start to the week! After a (relatively) quiet week for Zed, they've started this week with some huge changes to the racing class system. To recap - the old system consisted of 4-5 races per class in classes V to II with 2 races in class I. What ended up happening was a huge grouping of high quality horses in each class with any low quality horses having very little chance of picking up wins - even in class V. The new system has introduced more than ten active races per class with a good amount of variation in entry prices. Meaning the high tier horses in each class can compete for the big purses and the lower tier horses can rack up some wins at lower entry costs. This should help new users coming on to the platform find their feet and get to try their horses on the track and actually have a chance of winning! For the top horses on the game there is now a massive $500 entry race with the winner taking home more than $3.5k! This should give more incentive to the horses that can win these races to actually compete at the top level too. In my opinion this is a big win for Zed. We may see some issues arise down the line but short term this is a win for anyone looking to join the fun of Zed Run. Remember to race those horses!
